We had a fantastic time over New Year's at this cozy cottage. The cottage was impeccably clean and beautifully decorated, making it feel like a home away from home. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed, and we appreciated the thoughtful provision of essential condiments and even toiletries left by previous guests. The location was peaceful and serene, with plenty of maps and leaflets provided to explore the nearby area. The personalized communication from the host throughout our stay was also a great touch.

The only downside we encountered was the need to reconnect to the internet daily, which was a minor inconvenience. during our stay in the winter, it would have been nice to have thicker curtains in the lounge to create a cosier atmosphere during the colder evenings.

I had an incredible stay at this beautifully presented cottage in East Sussex. Hesmonds Oast Lodge was perfect for our group of two couples, with its two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The kitchen was very well stocked, and the owners even provided fresh eggs from their chickens, along with other basic food and snacks. The entire place was spotlessly clean, with lovely bedding and towels. We also enjoyed the pretty private garden, which had plenty of outdoor seating. The location was great for exploring East Sussex, and the host, Stephanie, provided excellent communication throughout our stay.

Loved the complimentary WiFi , private parking , and hiking nearby. Airport nearby for quick getaways. Washing machine was a bonus.

I always choose this place for my stay. The staff helped me find my lost earring on my first stay. It suits me perfectly with free Wi-Fi, a flat-screen TV, and a kitchen. I love coming back for a romantic escape.
